Collision Control Page layout
Could it be possible to release another interim release of musescore, prior to 3.0 that would fix collisions of text etc.?

Could you attach an example here (a * .mscz file)?
use the "File attachments" option at the bottom of the page, just above the Save and Preview buttons when you're typing your post. Click on 'File attachments' it will become browse
Someone can suggest how to take advantage of MuseScore's flexibility...
I'm pretty sure this won't happen, too many things changed under the covers and too much of that is still in flux
Right, the collision avoidance stuff that is already implemented for 3.0 is indeed probably the single most important reason for a 3.0 release in the first place, and it would necessarily break compatibility. There would be no way to have it be an "interim" release.
