Can't open musescore
What are the system requirements to run musescore?
I'm using OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) on my Macbook Pro (from 2005ish), but i can't run musescore. After downloading the .dmg and dragging the app icon to the applications folder, the app appears with a slash through it. When I try to open the app, a dialog comes up stating, "you can't run the application musescore because it is not supported on this type of mac."
The app runs just fine on my iMac (2011) which also runs 10.6.8.

MuseScore 1.2 and later will only run on Intel Macs. if your's is not an Intel, try version 1.1 (from http://musescore.org/en/download)

Thanks for the input. It does have an Intel processor.

MuseScore 1.3 has been compiled as a 64bit application, since Qt 4.8.4 is provided as a 64bit package while Musescore 1.2 was a 32bit one (and build with Qt 4.8.0). Core duo processors do not support 64 bit apps.
Mac book and iMac before late 2006 have Core Duo processors.

This is Mac-only, right? And the Windows version remains being 32 bit?
And this should be mentioned on the download page, along with an option to still obtain the older 1.2 version.

Yes. Mac only. And yes, I just discovered it. I will update the download page.
