GSOC 2013 participation

Hi everybody

My name is Andrey and now I'm a MuseScore participant of Google Summer of Code 2013!
I'm very excited about it and I'm grateful to the members of MuseScore team for their help and support.

Some words about myself. Currently I'm a postgraduate student of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. I study the aggretation processes of nanoparticles and use C++/Qt program written for this research work. I'm fond of computer technologies. In my free time I like to play the piano, and music notation software like MuseScore helps me in that process.

My GSOC project goal is to improve MIDI import functionality in MuseScore, some information on current work can be found here.

I have a great interest to contribute to MuseScore program, implement some interesting algorithms and make a daily work of its users even more productive and easy. This summer of code gonna be fun!
