Removing Tabs

I am new here. I am trying to remove the guitar tabs. I know how to hide them. I saw that I am supposed go to Edit Instruments and delete it there. But this is MuseScore4 and that is not there as an option. The tabs appear below the original melody staff.
I have tried deleting all the info in the Tab staff, but it doesn't work.
If I open the Parts it shows Acoustic Guitar and Guitar, which is the Tab staff. I click on that and the only choices are to duplicate or rename.
What I am trying to do is to get the staves for the guitar closer together so there is less paper to shuffle around for the pianist. I looked at Properties but could make no sense of them.
