Having a really hard time with beams?
I've read and searched about all the stuff in the handbook etc. about beams but either: 1) it wasn't there or 2) I didn't understand it if it was. (It could very possibly be the latter, because I know hardly anything about music and am just trying to move some sheet music from old papers to new, readable paper).
Anyway, I'm not sure what preliminary information I need to provide, so I'll just provide what might be useful (?)... it's for piano, 3/4 time signature.. i'm trying to put a beam connecting some notes together and I can't.. I can't drag the beam or anything, and it doesn't do it while on auto..
Sorry for this probably dumb question!

Yes, I've read that and I selected a note and double clicked and nothing came up.
You've already read here:

A screenshot of what you want to create, and a screenshot of what you currently have would be helpful.
Oh wait oops... This was a problem of me not knowing anything about music. I didn't know that only notes with the flags could have beams.. Sorry for the interruption, and thank you for your help!
