No beam option missing
Please can someone help me? I am trying to write a score with no beams. I have found instructions elsewhere on this website which say:
Select F9
Choose Beam Properties
Select No Beam.
I cannot select No Beam as there is no such option, just options for how the beams are displayed. I don't want any beams at all.
I have also tried right-clicking the time signature (as this was also advised elsewhere) but there is no "No Beam" option there either.
Am I missing something?
Thank you to anyone who can point me in the right direction and tell me what I am doing wrong.

In Style->General-> beams set beam thickness to 0sp. This will make every beam in the score disappear. If you want only some of the beams gone, you have to do a group of connected notes at a time and make the beams invisible.

Thank you for your quick response. I really wanted to remove the beams for one instrument only, but making them invisible seems to be the workaround. The "no beam" button must have been removed since the question was asked previously. Once again, thank you.
Select the notes, then use the no beam from the beams palette

There is no "no beam" option in the beams palette. That's the thrust of my question.

There is. It is the unbeamed 8th note icon in that palette. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/beam

No beam from the palette actually makes them independent notes with flags. I think she wants invisible or non existent beams.

Where do you see that? There's no mention of flags in here posts

Her reply to my first response tells me she wants the beamed notes to look like 1/4 notes. No beams, no flags. That's what making the beam invisible would do.

Sorry, I don't see this, no mention of "want the beamed notes to look like 1/4 notes"

Yes, your response lead me to the outcome I was trying to achieve. Thank you.
