Shortening the length of a bar.
Could you advice how I shorten the length of the final line of a score? The attached shows the first bar is stretched out too much, and I would like to make this bar shorter, consequently the rest of the line shorter.

It looks like you were playing with the "stretch" settings here, that's why the bars are not more consistent in size. So first step should be, select all and then do Layout / Reset Stretch. This will fix the relative sizes. Then if you still want to add space at the end, you can either turn off the fill feature by raising the threshold, or append a horizontal frame.
