Rest in a lyric line
I have a song where I multiple verses under the same notes. In one of the verses the singer rests on one note. Can I put a rest symbol in the lyric line?

If you press F2 while entering text, you get a dialog that allows placing symbols, although I don't remember if rests are among them for 1.3 (they should be for 2.0). But FWIW, I've never heard of anyone doing this. It's quite common for this situation to come up, but the usual way of solving it is to use an extender under that note or to simply have nothing there not a rest. You might want to look at some published examples.

No rests available in 1.3's F2 dialog. But in symbols table 'Z', you can drag them from there.
I use either nothing or a 'Ctrl-', sometimes with '()' around it.
In published versions I've seen rests (quarter and eighth usually)
