Swing in Musescore v2
Hello again :-)
I've tried to find information about changing from straight to swing when playing a tune in musescore v2, but I can't find how to do it.
Is it there or is it coming later?
I have the latest nightly build.

It's not implemented and there is little chance it will be implemented in v2.0. It will be the one and only outstanding functional regression as far as I know.

Can't is possible get fixed, or worked around by a plugin that changes the notes' Offset?

If the framework supports it, I plan to write - or collaborate on such a plugin. If the framework *doesn't* support everything necessary to do this, maybe we could make that a priority?
I of course would prefer to see native support, but I would also prefer to see it done "right", with support for changing between swing and straight, setting the swing ratio, etc. And I get that this is kind of a big change to introduce at what hopefully is pretty late in the game. And that re-implementing the old facility would end up being throwaway work, and could introduce compatibility questions. So I'm willing to wait.
You add swing by creating Staff Text (click a note and hit CTL + T). Make the text say something like "Light Swing". You then right click that text and select Staff Text Properties. From there, you click the Swing Settings tab. First, check the box to turn it on and then pick your settings. Best wishes.
Note: I realize this is an old post, but it came up first in my search results and didn't have the answer listed, so I am mostly posting to help others you stumble across this post and are looking for the same answer.
