Want more measures per system
1. I'd like to get this down to five lines but am unable to get more measures per system. I tried changing "measures per system" with no success.
2. Also, would like to get staffs closer together. I've got the spacing as low as it will go.
Is there an easier way than using create/vertical frame for each line? In music time, I just had to click on the staff and drag.

1. Select all measures and add less stretch to make 5 lines.
2. Go to menu item: Style / Edit General Style / Page / Lyrics then look at upper margin, lower margin.

The reason your reduction in system distance is having no effect is that your page is fuller than the Page Fill Threshold of 70%, so MuseScore is expanding to fill the page. Turn that threshold up to 100% to disable to page fill, and you'll see the actual effect of your system distance settings. That plus the lyric margins are what you can be be playing with here.
