Having single lined percussion staff and regular 5 line staff on same page
I am creating a handout for theory students. I need to have a single line staff on the top half of the page, a break in the middle of the page (with text), and a 5 line staff below the break.
I have been able to add the break and text in the middle of the page - using a final double bar line, section break, a line break, and a wide spacer.
However, every time I try to change the staff below the break to a 5 line staff, the top of the page changes to a 5 line staff as well. Anyone have any helpful suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your time!

Insert a vertical frame;
Insert a section break;
Hide empty staves.

I was able to add the section break and vertical frame, however if I change the staff below the vertical break to a 5 line staff, the staff above the vertical frame still changes to 5 lines. I don't understand how to prevent the one line staff above the break from changing.

Add an instrument.
On the attached, press 'I' to see it and: Style/General...Score->tick/untick the 'Hide' box
