I guess the answer is "yes"
Looks like it was much more in SuSE 12.2 and older
seems nobody tried it until now - or my system lacks something -
even the trying the first one fails due to unsolvable dependencies.
Is there a certain sequence other than from top to bottom to use?

Doesn't 'rpm' tell more or less exactly what dependencies are missing? Maybe look at the list of packages needed for SuSE 12.2, to get an idea?

Apper-Installer tells, for "Details"
nothing provides libqt4-sql =

so you need libqt4-sql-4.8.0+4.8.20120823-2.1.x86_64.rpm , just line in SuSE 12.2, see

Guess you should report this to SuSE.
