can't get the half note in the measure
Hello,
Just started using musescore. I'm trying to put in a measure the following notes:
quarter notes g c f e. No problem there. Then i need to put under the f a A half note that lasts through the f and e quarter notes. I've tried with voices but i can't make musescore to put the half note under the f. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wront.

You also need a half rest under the first 2 quarters and need to enter that first before you can enter the half A. That is, you can't start entering an additional voice in the middle of a measure.
You can delete that rest later or make it invisible.
