Converting a piano score to woodwind quintet
Is it possible with musescore to break a piano score into five parts without inputting the notes, etc., one at a time?

Without seeing the score you want to convert, it's impossible to say what steps might be necessary. If you happen to have set it up with separate voices that exactly correspond to the instruments in the quintet, then it would be possible via plugins or by a process of copy and paste and voice manipulation. Or if everyone has the same rhythm and you entered the music as chords in one voice, a different plugin might do the trick. But unless you very carefully set up the piano part to exactly correspond to the parts you need, in general, there is no possible automatic way to convert it. Even two expert human arrangers might do it differently.y.
If you post the score you are wanting to convert, we can advise better. You might as well do it in this thread rather than the second one you started later.
I unzipped the arrange parts and have it installed in MuseScore but I can't get it to arrange the parts-- this occurs whether I select the parts to be arranged or not. Can you help me?
I got the program for arrange parts to sort of work but it only did the first five measures when I had hit select all. Any ideas?
Hey, I got it to work. Thanks ever so much for your help! You saved me a bundle of money!
