Creating voices parts from sheet music
The 'part extraction' section does not help me. I have imported a midi file into musescore and have finished the piece, however, I now need to split the chords up into different parts for an a cappella group. I cannot figure out how to do this :/ So far, it seems I have to start from scratch and manually enter each note in teh correct bar...
Please help!

does not help, attach here your score, if you want. Someone can take a look...

I'm just guessing now, but a plugin may help.
See:
http://musescore.org/node/10129
and:
http://musescore.org/en/plugins
If all parts share the same rhythm:
http://musescore.org/en/project/plode
Otherwise, there is:
http://musescore.org/en/project/explodeparts
also:
http://musescore.org/en/project/arrangeparts
If your chords are written with different voices, there's a technique to copy the whole chordal arrangement into the part you wish to create (eg. tenor) exchange voices so that the part (eg. tenor) is now in voice #1, then delete the other voices:
http://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices
Again, posting the score would be a big help.
Regards.

sorry! I think I had to reply instead of posting a new comment (I'm new to forums).
All parts follow the same rhythm. Thanks so much for your help... it seems like an easy fix for the majority of the score.
