Android 4.1 Jellybean
I really want to get the mobile app, but my ipad isn't supported. It would be cheaper to get an android - and I'm not at all familiar with androids.
Will the app work on the Android 4.1 Jellybean edition?

Unless your device is a Samsung Galaxy Note(Pro) which for some reason has issues with the app.
Guess who's eagerly awaiting the update that fixes this :)

As stated in the app store description, MuseScore Player is made for Android devices with 3.0 Honeycomb version and higher. So all Android 4.x versions are supported. If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@musescore.com.

I must confess I haven't checked in the last couple of days, but according to my notifications there has been no update of MuseScore.

Ah I see the version I have is 1.2.12
And the latest version on Google Play is 1.3.3
I got it from the Samsung Appstore - guess I need to work out how to force an update.

Just to make it clear, the problem reported at http://musescore.org/en/node/24896 doesn't prevent the app to work on Samsung Galaxy Note(Pro). It was just a problem with this particular file that couldn't be opened (on whatever device).
