Easily remove annoyance.
It is extremely annoying to have that green response covering up the download/support/contribute/activity area,
Too big and right in the middle!
Please, if we must have it, move it to where it doesn't interfere.

Agreed, it is annoying and in the way. But some form of feedback whether a reply has been posted or an edit has been accepted is needed.

So you are suggesting that I click around until I find out how to do that? My goal is to reduce time spent on minor issues.
As I said in the previous answer this will not happen. Again, if you are curious or want to be more sure, I encourage you to take the time to read some of the many threads that discuss this.

Not trying to be offensive; but this is your first post on this site and your account has been around for a mere 23mins. So far this thread is only the 2nd one to mention this nuisance.
I'll even add my vote to make that notification less invasive and have it auto-disappear after a brief period of time (somewhere between 2-5 sec should be more than enough).
