Jailhouse Rock Midi. Cannot open Midi file with MuseScore
I am trying to create an accurate score and Midi file with the piano part in Jailhouse Rock!
This (see link below) is the best Midi version of Jailhouse Rock I have found so far, but the piano part which interests me is too low in the mix (to hear it in absolute detail) and the left channel lacks synchronisation.
I cannot open the Midi file with MuseScore, it simply crashes, but here is the The link to the Midi file anyway:
Original Midi. (Problem: left and right channel are NOT synchronised)
www.midiworld.com/search/?q=jailhouse
As you can hear, there is lack of synchronisation on the left channel, (listen to the left channel and you will know what I mean), so I have created an (.ogg) audio file with the content of the right channel so both left and right channel synchronised.

Could anyone recommend me other ways to open / edit this file for free. (other free midi editor, perhaps)
Comments
I can open the midi with a current nighly build, so whatever was causing the crash has been fixed.
I exported it as mxl there, imported in MuseScore 1.3, saved as mscz and attached...
Thank you VERY much for your very helpful prompt response, and applologies for my late response.
