Midi patches not included on import

Hi,
I am using version 2.1. On midi import, all the sounds default to piano sounds even though the patches are included in the midi file and recognized by other programs. Yes, there is a midi import screen at the bottom to change the sounds, but is there a way to have Musescore detect the correct sounds from opening the file in the first place so we don't have to re-assign every part again?
