lyrics font
I downloaded a file and wish to edit it. The lyrics font does not respond to changes I attempt. I click Style, Text, Lyrics Odd Lines and select a different font but it will not apply.

Changed text styles don't apply to text that is already entered, this is a know bug.
After having changed the style, right-click one syllable, select all similar and then in inspector click on Reset to Style

To be more specific, loading a text style does not change text already entered, but changing the text style does. The only time it doesn't is if the text in question had manually formatting already applied to override the text style; this override will be maintained even if you change the text style. And that is what is going on here. So indeed, the Reset Text to Style is the way to remove this manual formatting. Soemone apparently went through this and manually changed each syllable to Times New Roman (or entered it in a very old version of MuseScore that did not yet have the text style feature).

in a very old version of MuseScore -> like MuseScore 1.x (I'm seeing it with score produced there quite often)
