What does this blue symbol mean and how to get rid of it
From time to time this blue symbol shows up on a manuscript while I am working.
It seems to effect the playback so that just the section bracketed plays (over and over) I have no idea what it is but I think it happens if I accidently hit some key on the computer—but I don't know which one and I don't know how to get rid of it. Can anyone clarify this?

You use have to click of the circle arrow and the :ll sign that are turned on (white) gray is off
Developer question: Any way we can create a tooltip for this? Or perhaps contextual help?

My off-the-cuff answer is that it is easier to do tooltips or context help for "real" score elements, as we already have a function to tell you what element is at a given position on the page. That wouldn't extend to things like these markers, or the blue box that appears for a selection, because they are drawn "on top" of the score. Not that it would necessarily be impossible, but it would probably require a different approach than what we currently use for context help (which I assume could indeed easily be extended to also do tooltips).

a blinking-loop-icon may be more useful.
