Improvements to the Marching Tenors, Electric Piano/Synthesizers, and Dynamics
It seems that with the 2.1 update, Drum 4 and Spock on the Tenors got silenced. In addition to fixing this issue, I think there should be an update to the Tenors that adds a 6th, increasing the range from F-G to F-B.
Another thing that I feel could use an improvement is with the Electric Piano and other synthesizers. These instruments are unable to hold notes very long, even though their real life variants can. Ex. In order for a note to play for 12 counts, I have to split the note in halves or thirds.
Another issue I have with these instruments and the mallet percussion is dynamics. If all the instruments are supposed to collectively play at forte, I often have to raise the dynamic of the percussion to match. An Electric Piano at fortissimo (ff) is still inaudible over a brass section playing at mezzo piano.
These are just some improvements that I would hope to see in a future update.

The Drum 4 and Spock did not get silenced, it is a result of the drumset template including the wrong notes. Here is the replacement template that also includes a 2nd spock drum.
Some electronic pianos can sustain longer than others. If you have a favorite model of electric piano with a longer sustain, you are welcome to do a web search to try to find a soundfont that emulates that model and use that soundfont as describe in the Handbook.
That said, I agree the default soundfont probably attenuates a bit too quickly to be as useful as it could be and could stand to be tweaked.
As for volume, well, an electric piano is a lot quieter than a brass section. Sure, you can turn up the volume on the amplifier for an electric piano - and you can do the dame in MuseScore using View / Mixer.
I like your idea and noticed the part I had for mallet synthesizer was drowning out the other instruments (all playing the same dynamic)....
