See attached file.
- Select the first note in voice 1 of the bass staff and apply a treble clef by double-clicking from a palette.
- Save the score, then close and reopen it.
Expected result: No change.
Actual result: The bass clef in the first system disappears. Deleting the accidental clef restores it.

Confirmed. Reproducible from scratch as well:
1) new score for piano
2) select full measure rest in first measure of top staff and add bass clef ("mid-measure" clef change)
3) select full measure rest in first measure of bottom staff and add treble clef
4) save
5) reload
Result: clefs are missing.
Possibly related to #46036: Clef on first note of system becomes header clef after save and reload
This score also has another bug, reported at #253926: Key signature not displaying correctly on clef change at the start of a score.
See fix #269253: Opening bass clef disappears when mid-measure treble clef is applied #3680.
More widely, perhaps?:
Result: Clef changes to treble.
Using MuseScore 2.2.1, 2.3 Nightly Build 8718b62 and 3.0 Nightly Build 0196b1b - Mac 10.11.6.
chen lung, that is a separate issue; see #272255: single piano stave with bass clef turns to treble after property edit.
Ah, thanks.
Looks like the PR has been closed. Reset to "Open issue"?
that PR was for 2.x, is the issue still valid in master?
Yes, the issue is still valid in master, and should probably be revisited after #272887: Unable to add mid-measure clef on the first tick of a measure is fixed.
