Oh, darn. It's probably been that way since @Thomas locked the Download page to editing. All three of those links are for Mac OS X. You need the one above them, "For all platforms."
@isaac I'm afraid I don't see the problem with the download links. Could you elaborate. Just so you know: the download page is not an editable page anymore since I wanted to make sure that the download page is up to date in all languages as soon as changes are made to the page. In the past, this was problematic.
Well, you get them for all platforms there, only the Mac versions are listed directly too, as these are for older versions of macOS, which cannot upgrade to newer versions of macOS and MuseScore, so are stuck with those older ones.

It looks like you're on Windows and downloaded the Mac package by mistake.

Well, I go to that page and click on "For 10.6+ 32-bit Core Duo: MuseScore 1.2" and that's what gets downloaded.

Assuming you want 1.2, select 1.2 and download the EXE.

You're welcome. By the way, why were you wanting MuseScore 1.2?

1.3 would probably be better for that purpose...

Are they not opening in 2.1? They should. Or maybe they are not looking right, so you want to use 1.2 to see how they looked originally?

Adding "Mac OS" to those 2 lines should make it clear. Also a separate heading maybe

Not for these older versions, though.

When I went there, I was confused.
The way it is now is better, but the confusion I had was with "For All Versions".
It would be much clearer if it was labeled "For All Windows Versions".
