Transposing D,C,Bb horn to F horn
I know how to use MuseScore to transpose say an oboe part to Bb clarinet, but I cannot figure out how to transpose a classical horn part written for C,D, Bb horn to F horn. Whatever I try will not move the written C, D or Bb horn notes the proper interval for F horn and add the required #s or flats. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks

The best way to transpose from one instrument to another is to always right click the staff, choose staff properties... and then click the Change Instruments button so you can select the proper instrument. Make sure you do not have the concert pitch button selected and the notes and key signatures will change, unless you chose the key signature with an X like I often do since historical horn parts generally do not have written key signatures.
