Score tempo

By adding a tempo text from the palette. See the Handbook under Tempo for more information.

At the beginning of the song where you see the quarter note = number (of beats per minute) , you can right click the number and select "Edit Element" from the menu. you can actually type a new number to change the tempo or beats per minute.

An easy simple way to do it is to right click the number that's after the quarter note that's on the top left corner of the beginning of the sheet music (the tempo number for beats/minute) .

*select "edit element" from the menu

*type in the new number you want to set the tempo to for # bpm

for instance, in the file I attached, the tempo number is 125 bpm
