I'm a new user and using mostly for learning choral parts. I understand this isn't the key focus of the software, but I believe it is frequently used for this.

During playback and singing softly along it's common, in the learning process, to encounter a section where there are challenges. What I was missing was an ability to just, for perhaps a few times, bounce back say 4 measures to take a fresh run, possibly at a slower rate. This would be similar to a DVR remote control that featues 30 seconds forward on one button (to skip commercials) and then 10 seconds back on another (to go back just a bit when you've gone too far). I needn't be unduly complex as it's easy to learn to click it as many times as needed to get somewhere near the point desired.

I see that I can use the position-within-the-score slider, but it gives me no guidance about how much and, unless I have it massively magnified it seems a bit of a blunt weapon to do what I'm wanting to do. I end up generally too far if the score is at all lengthy.

I also think the brackets aren't really what's needed here. It can be done, but requires the setup each time, more laborious, I think, than a simple click on a control.

I'm guessing this should ideally be not far from the play/pause button as it will be common to backup and then pause for a moment and survey the section to be tried again.
