Is there a tips and tricks forum?

With a program like Musescore, there are always features and hotkeys that make everyone more productive. Is there a good resource to get a weekly or monthly tip for how to work efficiently in Musescore?

The best place for tips and tricks is to read the handbook. I have learned a few tricks in the forums, but most of the tricks I know I learned in the handbook. I put different items in the handbook together to come up with a trick. When there are shortcomings identified in the handbook, it is usually updated rather quickly.

explore and learn or stumble...if you have a specific want as you're exploring, look it up online to see if there's an answer or way to accomplish what you're trying to do...that's how I've been learning. Play around with the mixer. right click on the instrument name and explore staff properties (like changing instruments, editing names), etc. Oh, and this link helped me a lot with panning and reverb, so I'd recommend the following link.

Welcome aboard...

My personal experience is that the best tips can be found in the forums.
By routinely perusing through them, you can assimilate information you would never (at the time) consider important - that is, until you (later) encounter a comparable situation. Then you will have an 'aha' moment.

Also, proper terminology is (sometimes) needed not only to find a relevant answer in the handbook; but to pose a concise and unambiguous question in the forum. So, with that in mind, the forums are a great resource with respect to proper 'score writing lingo'.
(Alas, here the term "voices" comes to mind)... ;-)

Regards.

Plus, there can be found the occasional 'creative workarounds' which employ MuseScore features in 'unapproved' ways... ;-)

Welcome. All the advice above applies. The problem with a Tips and Tricks page is that Tips will tend to be stuff that is already covered very well in the Handbook and the Tricks probably only apply to specific situations or are workarounds for issues with the then current version of MuseScore that gets fixed in a later edition. Having said that, I always like challenge when someone asks how they can do a particular thing in MuseScore but that “thing” is often far from run of the mill.
