how to insert a left hand bar into the right hand bar?
i am trying to insert a left hand bar along with the right hand bar, but i can't seem to do it. Help!

Maybe you mean you currently have a score with only one staff, and you want to add a second one? If so, go to Edit / Instruments and then add a staff. or simply start with a piano score to begin with - when creating your score, don't start with the sample default, but use File / New and actually tell MuseScore to use the piano template.
right when you go into create new score, it will give you boxes to fill in. one of them has something called choose instrument. choose the instrument that has two bars in it's sheet music
