Songbook keeps stopping

Hi, I installed Musescore Songbook on my Android tablet. Sometimes the files open ok, but at random intervals I get the message "Unfortunately Songbook has stopped." Files that opened fine yesterday won't today, and vice versa. If I can't rely on it, I can't use it to perform.

Any advice is appreciated.
