Printing an SATB plus piano score
I have gone through the steps for creating and SATB plus piano part. I wan't them, when printed, to fit on a standard 8 1/2 x 11 page with two systems per page. Right now, it's printing one system per page. I am creating the parts from an orchestral score. Do I need to adjust the layout on the entire orchestral score BEFORE creating the part PDF? Or, can I adjust the size AFTER creating the pdf?

I would say that it is necessary to do it before. When printing PDF you can select 'Fit to page' but not change the content (maybe with Adobe Pro version?)
Since I can't see the score I can't give exact instructions, but there are two options. Adjust settings in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/layout-and-formatting#style-edit-gene… or change the scaling in Layout->Page settings...

Once your SATB+piano part has been created from the orchestral score, you can save as a 'separate' MuseScore file.
Then you can open it in MuseScore and tweak it to put two systems per page. No need to worry at all about changing (or messing up) the entire score. (Remember parts are linked.)
When you are satisfied with the result, you can print directly from MuseScore. No need for pdf. This will give you the two systems per page, leaving your main score 'intact' (if you use other than 8 1/2 x 11 there).
