Update
I'm running V2.2.1 OS: Windows 7, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (32-bit): 2.2.1, revision: 51b8386.
On the forums I'm reading that the update to V2.3 is now available.
However, when I use the "Help/Check for Update" Option, MuseScore tells me no update is available.
So is the update not really available yet?

If I download and install the new version, will this process give me a new clean version? ie I lose my templates and other customisations?

Many thanks Mark and all the many developers. Bugs I don't mind losing.
I'll install the new version and keep on using the software.
