Drum set and concert percussion on the same staff?
Is there a way to use the mixer to have a standard drum set tom with a concert bass drum on the same staff, or would the bass drum have to be the drum set bass drum? Thanks.

Not currently. You can do that with the "Implode" command on other instruments to have different instruments on a single staff, like Broadway scores are usually arranged.

Even using "Implode" with different instruments (like a flute and clarinet) on a single staff will not allow multiple instruments to play back properly.
On a percussion staff I don't know of any way to allow for two different instrument sounds. This would be required to allow for example a Rock drum set and Concert Bass drum on one line. If they were pitched there is a work around (:
