ledge line size and small noteheads
The ledger line size seems to be correlated sometimes to the smallest notehead size within a stem group. To see this, do as follows:
1. Make a chord with some notes on ledge lines.
2. select one of the noteheads that appears on the staff; in the inspector make it (only it) a small notepad
3. Observe that the ledge line for the normal size notehead shrinks to an inappropriate size.
In any event the ledger lines for regular sized noteheads are sometimes too small, when there are small noteheads somewhere in the stem group
