Also here's a playlist of triad chords in root, 1st, and 2nd inversions for E minor scale. Playing the chords in shuffle mode will enable one to become more familiar with chords in E minor and hear how different chords sound in various progressions in random orders.
Chords with the bottom note that is one of the spectrum colors with two black notes in the chords are triads in root position.
Chords with 2 gold notes and a rainbow colored note on the top are triads in first inversion (1st = gold metal).
Chords with 2 silver notes and middle rainbow colored note are triads in second inversion (2nd= silver metal).
Since 1st stands for gold and 2nd stands for silver, I guess you could say the black stands for roots in black soil or dirt used for triads in ROOT position...get it? Rather corny I know, but this way you'll remember (especially since growing corn has roots ).
