scanner program that works together with Musescore
Hello. A year ago I bought a scanner program that could read a printed score. But I have a new pc and I have forgot the name of it. I think it was something with Snapeye, and was rather expensive, and I have the rights to use it, but now I have lost it.
Can anyone help with the name and URL for this program

Threads on discussions forums don't get closed; and others may wish to refer to this if they have similar questions in the future.
I wish Sharpeye would work for already scanned sheet music. But it says only "Failed to load BMP" :(
The musescore's recognition is useless and on web. So it seem like dead end to find something free.

Audiveris is free (and is what musescore.com import uses, but in an older version I think and without any options to customize it yourself.
Those few measures though are entered pretty quickly, so OMR is not worth the effort I think

I have used SharpEye for several years, but I gave up trying to use BMP files early on. For me, only black and white TIFF files produced a good result with SharpEye: and by "good" I mean 90-100% correct recognition of the notes.
To convert graphic formats I use GIMP which is free:
