When trying to make a roll for a snare or any drum part, it does not give the audio for it after I put in the rolling symbol. I would suggest that this be changed so I can get real feedback of what the music is supposed to sound like.

Rolls using the tremolo symbol should already be supported out of the box, and with the "Z" symbol also if you are using the MDL extension.
In order to understand what is going on in your particular case, we'd need you to attach your score, let us know about any special soundfont(s) you are using, etc. Also, are you really doing this on a development build of 3.0, or are you using the official released version 2.3.2?
