Interface design stuff
Hi, im not sure if this belongs in feature request or general discussion. I came across a youtube video made by a software designer about sibelius 7 interface and he mentions several issues i think musescore also has to some degree. Here is the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKx1wnXClcI&list=PLoihn1078C9FedjdoveXo… (you should watch it at least for the laughs).
Maybe the developers are aware of this things but i never saw anyone mention them on the forums. How likely are any of this improvements to be implemented? The biggest one for me would be the gigantic dialog boxes for layout (what he mentions from 12:35 to 15:00) and the ribbon thing with the live preview would be totally awesome.

That big edit style dialog is currently being worked at, so make it smaller. But it's design is not yet being challenged.

Any chance they might take this into consideration? Maybe this is not the main concern of the developers right now, but it seems this is the way most pc apps are heading. It would certanly make musescore more apealing than outdated/poorly designed propietary software to most people.
Im guessing now but, what if you could dock/undock layout and design dialog boxes like the inspector or workspaces?
This a different feature but its somehow related, why you cant dock workspaces or the inspector on the bottom of the screen? This would allow for more customization.

? You can already undock the Inspector and Palettes (what I assume you mean by "workspaces"). You can't dock either to the bottom because they were designed to layout well vertically, not horizontally. That would indeed be a possible enhancement someday.
