Tuplet bracket?
Musescore 2.3.2, Is there a way to notate tuplets so that a bracket shows the notes that are affected? As it is now, it is simply a number over the notes. I'm looking can't seem to find that feature. Thanks

Thank you! usually I don't use the bracket, but in this case it was necessary. I appreciate the response.
BTW, it's a number only if the notes are already beamed and there is no rest within. That's kind of the standard in modern music notation. The bracket should appear automatically if there is no beam or if a rest is involved.

Is it possible to make the bracket up at one end and down at the other end? Like when in inner parts of piano writing, (say for a duplet) first note is on the right hand (treble clef) and second note on the left hand (bass clef), the bracket should be placed between the clefs with front end up and back end down (like a reflected letter z). How to do this?

This looks like a cross staff tuplet

I think you'd have to do a workaround. Make the triplet and hide the bracket but keep the number. Then insert a line (Lines palette) and adjust the ends.

"Then insert a line (Lines palette) and adjust the ends."
For the benefit of the OP, the trick is to set the Hook Height of the line to a negative value, to make the hook point up rather than down (the default).

This is looking nice. Many thanks. Just wondering if adding two lines can resemble that gap for the "3"?

Adding two lines would make the layout more fragile.
You can use a single line, then overlay the number as Staff Text (with a Frame Rectangle to create a white space around the number):
See the attached MSCZ file for details. You may have to tinker with the Stacking Order of the line and the text number.

I see. This works very well. Thank you.
