Custom or No page numbers?
Hi there!
I am using Muse Score 0.9.4 (...revision 1518 according to the About Box)
I am writing music up for a two-man cabaret that I am writing and appearing in hopefully early next year. However, I would like to be able to publish the score in a book form, and for that, I can't have it starting at page 1 every four to six pages.
Is there a way to edit custom page numbers, or even to just eliminate them altogether?
Thanks!

To remove page numbers go to Style > Edit Style > Numbers
One can create empty pages before the first page of music, by placing tall vertical frames before the title. Then the page numbering can start on any number and one just has to remove the empty pages from the PDF before compiling the book.

Whow, 11 years later. But still not right, the answer given 11 years ago was perfectly correct and still is, wheras your's is giving a wrong answer to a different question

Which case are you trying to rest in this topic?
Did you have a question relating to it?

I appreciate the attempt to lend assistance, but there is no continuing need for any in this instance. Again, thank you; the amount of ready help available is impressive and has made switching from the program I used before so much easier than it might have been.

Eh, no, that’s totally arsebackwards.
Format → Page settings…
There’s an input field “First page number”.
MuseScore 2: Layout → Page settings…
