OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.4095, revision: 5859662
- Open the attached score (created in 2.x) without resetting.
- Compare the fingering positions with those in 2.x.
Although the horizontal and vertical offset values (in the Inspector) are the same in both cases, the fingering positions in 3.0-dev deviate a lot from the corresponding fingering in 2.x.

Not only positions from 2.x are lost. User positions set in 3.0 in general are lost!!
That means, that it is impossible to write a score with readable fingering!!
This is for me the show stopper!

I can't reproduce that - when I manually adjust a fingering, it does save & restore properly. Can you attach your score?
I also find that manual positioning created in 2.x for fingering is lost in 3.x:

These bugs have now been fixed in various other threads. Differences remain (by design) but can be resolved by not resetting imported 2.x scores, then selectively resetting and/or adjusting the various elements that are out of position.
