When I set the second kind of pedal lines to invisible and upload the score to a site, the pedal lines are still visible. Exporting to a PDF file can also reproduce it.

This is with the Beta, right? Should be fixed in a later development build, see #279176: Removing check from line visible has no effect

All other cases are fixed but pedal lines aren't.
To be clear, you are talking about the "Line visible" property for Pedal, right? It is true that that is not saved. It is an easy fix.
Export to PDF should be working now with regards to hiding the line if "Line visible" is not checked. When you say you are using the latest build, you have all of the changes from yesterday?
See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/4330.

Yeah I have the changes from yesterday.

PR created means someone thinks they fixed it and are waiting for Anatoly-os to apply the fix to the program so others can use and/or test it.

It's still not fixed with the newly-updated dev version.
That's why this issue still isn't marked fixed or closed...

Still not fixed, see my quintet.
what quintett?
In reply to what quitett? by Jojo-Schmitz
Its movements by far are all converted to 3.0-dev, and this issue affects 3.0-dev.
Still: which quintett? What score? There is none attached or linked to here

Oh that's what you mean.
See my third last score.
I still don't see it here. Score itself or link to it please.
If you're talking about
https://musescore.com/howard_c_/scores/5339669
then reupload to benefit from the fixed rendering, the backend got fixed after you uploaded that score, the pedal lines are hidden in a current development build and the latest Beta.
In reply to I still don't see it here… by Jojo-Schmitz
I uploaded it again after December 14's version was released... Anyway I will upload it again when I have access to my computer and let's see what can happen...
the backend got fixed a couple days after the beta released
To be clear, the issue is fixed in the software in the master branch, but not on the website, right? If so, then this issue has become a request to update the backend.
Edit: Oops, missed a bunch of comments.

I re-uploaded it just now and the supposed-to-be-hided pedal lines still appear.
In reply to To be clear, the issue is… by mattmcclinch
Yeah... I think that might be true...
The fix requires you to re-save your score using a current build, and then upload to the website.
Indeed, sorry if I didn't make that clear

So it means the next beta will contain the fix of this bug?
The Beta that was released on December 14 contains the fix for this bug. If you are using that Beta or a later build, then you should be able to load your score, select all pedal markings, uncheck "Line visible", save your score, and upload to the website, and it should display correctly.

How can I select the pedal marks without clicking on them one by one?
Right-click one of them and choose Select->All Similar Elements.
In reply to The Beta that was released… by mattmcclinch
I did that and still not working.
Works for me, in 3.0 RC. The lines do go invisible if set and saved that way, but not the entire Ped marking, if the element is marked invisible, that much seems a bug
To be clear: there is a difference between marking the entire pedal marking invisible vs marking just the line portion invisible. The former is the "Visible" checkbox at the top of the Inspector (or shortcut "V"), the latter is a little further below.
So please install the RC, load your score, and be sure you have used the correct option for visibility. Does it look right on screen? If so, there is no bug in MuseScore here. Then re-upload to musescore.com.
If it looks wrong on-screen on your own computer within MuseScore (eg, even before uploading), then please attach the score here (not just a link to musescore.com).

The bug is on musescore.com, there the entirely invisible pedal markings become visible
Confirmed, so I guess the backend really has not been updated? Or somehow things are just not working there?
We don't have a field here for musescore.com issues and probably don't want to in general (most web site issues will have nothing to do with MuseScore software), but this is kind of a crossover. I'm using musescore.org setting under "Type" for now.

I've always been using the former one and it always looks unbugged on MuseScore software itself.
Still an issue?

Yep. See https://musescore.com/howard_c_/scores/5381453
Even after a fresh upload?
Yes, I tried a just a little earlier today and the pedal markings still appear.
Should be fixed now, so re-upload

Still exists.
confirmed, very strange, as these do not show in 3.0.1 on the PC and the backend in musescore.com had been updated to that a few hours ago
Already get accustomed assuming this was never gonna be fixed :(
And now other lines have this problem present too. Look for measure 237 in https://musescore.com/howard_c_/scores/5398878. The crescendo line also appeared visible though set invisible.
Can't look at that score, seems to got stuck in processing?
Score is being processed.
It will automatically be displayed when finished.
In reply to Can't look at that score,… by Jojo-Schmitz
Yeah it's still processing. The point is that most of the time the same kind of lines are correctly hidden, but occasionally they just pop up.
In reply to Can't look at that score,… by Jojo-Schmitz
OK now the score will show.
In reply to Can't look at that score,… by Jojo-Schmitz
Also the same bugged lines appear to be visible as well when the score is converted into PDF.
If PDF and musescore.com show hidden lines, it isn't a musescore.com issue. That Pedal line Element in measure 237 is set to invisible, but the line part of it is set to visible, so that is what you get. Same for all the crescendo lines
Seetting those lines to invisble does work.
Setting the entire element to invisble does not apparently. Different bug, needs a new issue

Got it ;-)

See #283834: Setting pedal and (de)crescendo lines to invisible doesn't work in PDF export and uploading.
