See also #280221: MuseScore Beta3 triplet and fingering collide without any help of autoplacement and #279049: Tuplet of tuplets doesn't auto align. Tuplets don't participate fully in autoplacement right now, they will eventually need special treatment as we do for slurs, I think.
Bump.
Slur autoplace works by comparing the slur shape against the segment shapes, and tuplets aren't part of any single segment, so there is no way to do this currently. However, tuplets at least now to do participate in autoplace in other ways they didn't prior to 3.2, so in theory we could add their shapes to, say, the start segment. Most likely there would be complications with that, but it's a possible way forward. For now, though, this will likely remain one of the cases where manual adjustment will continue to be necessary.
Also reported at https://musescore.org/en/node/293026, it seems?
