Export from MS3 to MS2 format
Hi. My daughter, by mistake, installed MS3 in a new PC.
She opened a school assignment done at 70% in MS2 and ended it in MS3.
Her teacher now requires (don't ask me why) to have it in MS2 format but i couldn't find a way to export/save it in the previous version. It is a long and complex exercise (Beethoven's "Emperor" first 10 pages) and we are desperate at the thought of doing it again.
Midi export and reopen changes it completely, so it is not an option.
Can you help?
Thanks
Simone

Export it as musicxml file, to open the score again with MuseScore2.x
Export as XML and open (then save) with 2.3.2.Try it. You're probably gonna have to fix it a little bit.

Edit
Simone, a doubt: maybe the teacher has at his disposal 32bit PC

Hi, i tried this and all the "ff", "sf", "pizz.", Ped, etc. are totally moved... it will be a very time consuming.
Any chance to include a "save as MS2"? Any application do this (office, adobe, etc..)
Thanks

I don't see another way as adjusting it "by hand" again. Not sure how "totally moved" looks like. Maybe it helps, if you check with MuseScore 2.0 the offset in style->text... for these elements and/or use right click->select...->all similar elements and resetting the vertical and horizontal offset inside the inspector?

Or Ctrl+A Ctrl+R for roughing if it can help.
