When I load the “Barré” palette, items show like this and doesn’t work in ver 3.
I haven’t check if any other symbols as well..

P!ease attach that mpal file here, but I guess loading a 2.x mpal (if it is that) into 3.0 is just not going to work.
Actually that mpal file is at https://musescore.org/en/node/136976#comment-581211 and is for MuseScore 2.x.
Question is whether importing that into 3.0 is supposed to work, or just unsupported and fails by design?

Indeed. It had to be redone for make working for the 3.0.
I had done this a few days ago, here: Palette Barrés 3.0.mpal
After loading this palette for 3.0, please close this thread.

oh, this mpal file is only for MuseScore 2.x .. that's pity.
I have no idea if this file is supposed to work for ver3 or not..
Please load the attachment in my previous comment ("Palette Barrés 3.0 .mpal").
Guarantee to work with 3.0.

Hello cadiz1 !
Wow I've just tried your redone mpal.
So cool ! so many barré lines!!
Even better than previous one.
Thank you so much !
Ok, enjoy!
Marked as fixed or closed? Don't know really. Let's say Closed.

yeah let's say closed :)
I like these rich bold barré texts ! Thank you!
The question (and bug) is why MuseScore 3 reads that mpal file rather than claiming it to be too old. Or just importing and converting it.

The 3.0 is supposed to reload custom palettes, and sometimes highly customized?
I don't know, but if it is not, it shouldn't even try, just to fail on it

Hi,
How can I add this mpal to Musecore palette.?
See the Handbook under "Custom palettes". BTW, in the future, please try to refrain from asking the same question multiple times.
came up in #281869: Allow importing 2.x palettes into 3.0 too
Besides that duplicate issue above it also had come up in the forums the other day
I'm not sure if this is where I ask this question, but I had to change computers. I saved my Musescore 2 files on an external hard drive. When I plug that into my new computer (which has musescore 3 downloaded), it won't bring up my scores. I've looked at the chats but there doesn't seem to be an answer to my question. I saw that a flashdrive might work, but I thought an external hard drive would be similar. I'm really sad that I can't get to my old scores. Any suggestions?
Totally unraleted to the issue at hand here, please use the forum for this. But no worries, nothing is lost...
