Musescore 3 Crashing Computer

Dear Musescore Team,
After recently installing the latest update to Musescore (Musescore 3 - looks promising, by the way!) I have found that it keeps causing my computer to freeze up. I'm not sure whether it is a problem with Musescore 3 itself, or because I am on Windows 7 (I presume you had Windows 10 in mind while creating this latest update), or some other problem entirely.
I hope you can address this and/or help me with this issue.

or https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/revert-factory-settings

If it's a large score you may decide to adjust the autosave time so it will happen less often.

Thanks for the suggestions. My computer isn't what you'd call "the worlds greatest", so that probably doesn't do me any favours...

That was the voice of experience speaking. 2 minute Autosave makes it unusable for me.
