hearing all of the instruments
I am trying to make music for my drum line's cadences and I can't figure out how to play all of the instruments at once. The only one I can hear in the snare and I want to see if it sounds right with all the instruments.

You will have to attach your score and tell us which sound font you are using. If you are using MDL, let us know since that has it's own soundfont.

Look in the synthesizer (View->Synthesizer), you can even take a pic of it and attach that.
As mentioned, we would need you to attach your score in order for us to do more than guess. That said, my guess is that you have pressed the 'Solo" button for the snare in the Mixer. Or else you haven't loaded all the necessary soundfonts, if you are using something other than the default instruments.
