Only the Start Center is showing up when I open Musescore
When I open Musescore on my computer the only thing that shows up is the Start Center, but when I click on the score to open it, it just.. doesn't? It doesn't open the score. Like, it's there, you can see the name of it, but there's nothing actually there.

I don't know if you can tell this or not, but when I try to open Musescore, this is what shows up. If I choose one of the scores to open, in the taskbar it says that the score is open but when I click on it it just doesn't open. Also, I tried factory resetting it but it wouldn't actually reset it.
Edit: Never mind, I got it to work!

Hi kittenwarriorcat. I think I'm having the same problem you were. How did you get yours resolved?

Hi. I read through your link but didn't understand everything. I'd like to try disabling the startcenter. What exactly should I put in the command line to do that?

type musescore3 -w on the command line.
An alternative way is to double click a musescore file.
In either case, once MuseScore runs, open edit->Preferences and uncheck the start center.

No luck so far. My order of events:
-I type musescore 3 -w o the command line.
-The startcenter opens without the main window
-I select a score
-The startcenter closes and I'm left with an icon on the taskbar, but nothing when I click it.
It's the same thing when I open a .mscz file, but without the startcenter either.

try running it with -F instead. (the F must be capital) It sounds like something has set the main musescore window off the screen. Did you by chance previously have 2 screens and now have only 1?

I did recently starting using a second screen for some things. In any case, running it with -F did the trick! Thanks so much!
