Unable to correctly edit old files
I am unable to edit old scores I made with version 0.9.5 correctly; the quarter notes are incorrect and are missing the stem only in the older files. It works correctly in new files. Please look at the below screenshot.
Thank you.

You will need to attach one of these older files if you want anyone to look into the problem.
By the way, do you have a printer installed?

As in to print the paper? Okay, a song is attached.

I opened the file and the stems on the quarter notes appear okay on my computer. If you are able to better identify what steps cause this to happen please share the information. One other user has reported the blurry icons like you show in your first screenshot but none of the active testers or developers are able to reproduce the problem (see http://www.musescore.org/en/node/2358#comment-5705 )
What operating version are you using? If you zoom in do you ever see a very thin stem on the quarter note? Is it only the quarter note stems or does it apply to half-notes and eighth-notes too? Could you go to File > Print and take a screen shot of the print dialog.

Ah, I see the problem, somehow the file I was working with (I sent the incorrect one) became corrupt. Thanks all, however, the quarter note on the command bar is still missing its stem.
Please look below. Is a file missing/corrupt? Bug? New?

Could you attached the corrupted file? It is hard to tell what is wrong until someone else is able to reproduce the problem.
It would be helpful to know if you have a printer installed.
Yes, I do have a printer (x2) and PDFCreator installed.
I believe the attached file is the corrupt one.
