Keypad “note entry” shortcut issue.

When I create a shortcut for note entry on my Mac “numeric keypad,” the shortcut is not saved when I close the file, nor when I reopen the program. I have to recreate it all over again each time. Note durations, rests, etc. work fine using the keypad, and are retained. See the pic below. Any ideas?
